The 2022 World of Concrete exhibit ran from January 18-20 in Las Vegas, NV. With nine Tenna team members from around the country all coming together for one action filled week, there were bound to be some lasting memories made!
From engaging booth conversations and show floor happy hours, to axe throwing with partners, Tenna did it all at this year’s World of Concrete convention. While there was definitely no shortage of fun, it was also a great opportunity to network and learn about what’s going on in the industry.
The exhibit hall was busy and the Tenna team had a wonderful time meeting the many attendees. With COVID-19 presenting the world with so much uncertainty, World of Concrete provided a safe space to gather and meet in person.
“Our team had a blast at World of Concrete. We met so many quality people and their families from coast to coast and beyond. It’s great to hear their experiences and challenges in growing their businesses, and to know that we can be their partner to help get their equipment management to the next level made for a lot of exciting conversations,” said Mark Facciani, VP of Sales Development at Tenna.
Concrete contractors small and large could not resist the pull of the mighty Tenna orange – and specifically Tenna onesies – and stopped by to learn how they can better manage their equipment fleet.
With customer testimonials running on the big screen, “how to” videos teaching folks about how the platform works, and live demos run by the sales team, there was no shortage of information for attendees to absorb and several folks found out about a solution to a problem they were ignoring.
Tenna, along with, Sage, LaborChart, Giatec, and Arcoro sponsored a night full of food, fun, and conversation hosted by Procore at Dueling Axes. It is safe to say that the teams’ competitive natures came to the surface for some challenging friendly competition but unfortunately, the golden axe was out of Tenna’s reach.
Tenna would like to thank Procore for including us; it was an interactive experience that made for a unique networking opportunity.
Other highlights from the event include show floor visits with our integration partners at Procore, Sage, and Foundation. It was refreshing to see them live and in person as opposed to through the computer screen!
Mark, along with Russ Young, VP of Growth, participated in an interview with For Construction Pros about Tenna’s outlook for 2022. Be sure to check it out! They had so much fun filming and are excited to be able to share their passion for equipment management with the industry.
Tenna cares deeply about being able to educate the industry and loved being able to talk with attendees about not just our product, but about relevant topics that directly affect the construction businesses we serve. Conversations with contractors and partners left the team with a lot to take home.
Labor was a hot subject with discussion around the current labor shortage that the industry is facing, as well as how to track and manage the labor resources that companies have already.
Another topic the team heard about often was maintenance and fuel which are pain points that continue to impact contractor operations and budgets, and problems that Tenna solves for. They learned that many contractors still only have solutions for tracking one type of asset, versus a single, integrated platform solution to track and manage all of their assets. Roughly half of the contractors Tenna spoke to at the show perform their own sitework, meaning that they have a lot of assets in their fleet. Tenna to the rescue!
Tenna continues to learn from their experiences and always seeks to stay current on new trends and what contractors truly care about so they can continue to improve their product to serve the needs of the industry.
If we were able to catch you at World of Concrete this year, it was so great to meet you! Let’s continue the conversation and get a demo scheduled.
